ShadowBar's first gen CL
Whatsup everbody, names Tucker and im new to AcuraZine, have been on for a while. I'm real glad I actually found a forum thats active & has a CL section haha
This is my First Honda/Acura, after an 89 mr2 sc, 00 sienna, 93 cs 90 q, 99 528i, 96 maxima and a 00 durango.
Needless to say, im in love with this car. so the story goes:
I sold my Audi late november of 08 and picked up a 1998 CL2.3 with 52k on the clock. It was a 5 speed and completely stock aside from a Sony xplod head unit.
the day i picked it up
it had the stock 5 spoke splits on it.. and unfortunatley i cant find any more pics from the day i got it.
from there I started small and swapped out the signals for some smoked ones along with an SRI. I also mounted up from snows for the terrible weather.
oh and it was cleaned two days before that picture...
Shortly after those two.. i swapped the speakers + system. i went with polk 6.5's in the doors and kicker 6x9's in the rear deck, two eclipse 12's and a kicker zx amp. during this time i also installed a rear view camera.
(no picture, sorry)
I also went with some ultra white's
i decided it was lacking something from the front end. so i refinished the grill full satin black and love it.
now it was finally starting to shape up more into what i was going for. got some new headers and a 2.5 cat back custom exhaust with a straight glass pack muffler. i love the way it sounds, although im yet to record the sound. lazy me.
So here it sits now. come the spring, ill be dropping it along with some 17's or 18's, a WW lip and either the WW type R spoiler or the OEM.

thanks man
yeah i like the wheels, the tires are way too big. they were some snows i had mounted on some steelies from my old E39, so i just transfered them to some 4 lugs and mounted em up haha
im actually thinking about going 17x 7's of the same wheel, with probably some falken 912's

Well, for now ive got some generic Stainless 4-2-1 high flow ones off ebay, they sound great, although the car hasnt been dynoed to see if there was any gain. id assume so, it feels faster then when i first got it.. but who knows? lol

i think that's the last thing that i have on my mods list..i'm pretty much done (just waiting to get some quotes so i can repaint my ww front lip and slap that on) other than that i think i'm done, maybe headers but not sure if i wanna shell out $300-400 for some DC or Greddy Headers..

Ron A's usually on top of things
I know what sarcasm is, CM doesn't even own a 1st gen yet he comes in here with that bs that has absolutely nothing to do with anything
I realize that, but let's keep it in the 2nd gen forum
