Having some trubble figuring out what ecu piggy back i want to go with

i have a 2001 Acura cl type s automatic its got intake, exhaust, header, crank pulley, throttle body spacer and gasket after i put my high flo cat on the check light comes on and the car goes in to like limp mode so i am thinking of getting it tuned at a dyno but by reading on hear you need a piggy back system or aem ems witch i don't want to spend that much but will if its is worth it so i would like to know what some other thoughts and opinions are so any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.......

yes, i would figure out what code is thrown first.

you can possibly fix it without spending an arm and a leg trying to dyno tune, when that wont even solve your problem.

what is the CEL? have a code reader hooked up to the OBDII port and have the code read

the code i am getting is p0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) and it just came on after i put this high flow cat on there are no leaks and both o2 sensors are brand new. witch i know don't mean that one is bad but, my real thing was to get it tuned and the rear o2 sensor taken out. plus i feel the car is lacking power and i know that the 2001 acura cl type s cant just be tuned with oem ecu so that's my ? what should i go with that's some what easy to use i will bring the car to a professional to tune it and are there any more mods i should do to it other then a supercharger/ nos ????

those "high flow" cats are shitty. or you could just put a defouler on the o2 sensor and the code should go away.

That's a pretty silly blanket statement to make. He didn't even reference a brand, but I guess you're implying all HF cats are shitty anyway? And by putting high flow in parenthesis you're implying they don't flow better than standard cats. That's a crock. I can assure you a 100 or 200 cell cat will make more power than a stock 900 cell.

brand is much irrelevant unless you get a a really expensive one then is it even worth it?

see how many years your car will actually pass emissions compared to the oem unit.

please.

Put a defowler on, reset the ecu and the code should be gone. Don't bother tuning your car with those mods.

High flow cats are a great power mod if you can pass emissions.

I'm gonna date myself cause it been so long so I'm not even sure if they still make it but the apex vtec controller worked awesome with my set up, I had aem cold air, aem pulleys, Comtech headers and greddy Evo exhaust and had the vtec controller professionally tuned at my local performance shop and I was eating up mustang GTs and camaro z28s
