Can't wait to see you step to the next level. I struggle with selling and not selling as well, but at this point I am in it for the long haul, going to take steps to make the car much better and bring it up to date, and then if its not looking good I am going to find another one and swap everything over and eventually go 3.5, I want to see the car with 400 hp and then daily it while I work on other builds. I don't want to put too much money into it but I think I can stretch 10 grand for it in the next year or so.

we managed to fit 3 car seats in our Rav so i think i bought the CL some time! lol

I did buy the CL something recently. A solar trickle charger! The things i'd like to tackle next are the brakes and cat/midpipe. I'm inquiring into some NSX calipers which would leave money for exhaust. I also have to modify the icebox tubing to 4" (thanks Brian) and i have a 70mm TB i'm going to try and get working. I'm going on paternity leave in April so i can fiddle with the car at nap time!

We have 2 boys now, 2.75 and 0.75. We'll have a 3rd at some point.

I love the darker tones in that red! I also need some paint work on my kit, but I need to find a hookup around here.

That's awesome; congrats on the soon to be new addition!

Yeah, the color really pops in broad daylight. What makes it cool is that you can see the metallic in the paint; look like metal particles.

Still have work to do

feels great to be driving her again. Washed, claybar, waxed today.

The lip kit needs some paint pretty bad. Going to try and tackle that, put in a high flow cat, fix up the interior a bit and i have to mod the Comptech Icebox to 4" tubing.

Thanks! We've been driving the CL with the kids a lot lately, it's been fun. We were watching a friends kid and had two bucket car seats in the back, lol.

I've been looking into replacing the stereo with a tablet lately. The threads here show guys using the stock navi spot, but I thought about using the stereo spot. Anyone done this? Seems you'd need an amplifier to control sound.

small update. i changed the piping on the Icebox to 3.5". Also swapped the Outlaw manifold spacer for a P2R one since it's thinner and helps the s/c parts line up better.

Nice. Glad to see you were able to use the tubing. Can you even tell a difference?

thanks again Brian. I could be full of it, but it does feel a bit smoother and the revs seem quicker. It must flow a lot better than before.

I replaced my Outlaw gasket with a P2R one since it's thinner and the s/c parts line up better. I saw how nasty my runners looked and i think i'm going to pick up a spare set and gasket match (port) them along with the manifold. Looks like i could use an oil catch can too.

My exhaust has seen better days so i need to upgrade this year. I almost picked up an accord exhaust for cheap but i really want a 3" midpipe. i wish Morgan would sell some parts...

You're not full of it; I can visually see the difference in diameter... It's definitely breathing better!

Picked up a junk yard manifold and runners for cheap. Going to do a small port and gasket match them. I removed the runners myself and what a pain!

Going to hopefully get these in this weekend. Had an engine code pop up yesterday that I need to check, but the car ran fine. The runners came off a car with 300,000+ kms so the carbon buildup was crazy.

Thought I'd update this. 3" exhaust installed consisting of a 3" magnaflow cat, 4" round resonator (18") and comptech axle backs. Stainless steel and mandrel bends.

Start up vid:

It bumps to 3" before the cat, then all the way to the Y where it goes down to the comptech cans.

thanks! it's still a little loud for me and i think in the future i'll throw in another resonator. I'll get a picture soon. The piping is huge and it hangs pretty low at one point, but no scraping yet.

I hear ya. I just put full exhaust on my Mercedes and I definitely need some resonators. What brand did you get for the one on there currently?

i'm acutally not sure what's on there now. The one i had brought wouldn't fit so they had this one in stock. It's a 4" round and about 18" long. It looks like a vibrant bottle style resonator.

I would recommend a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator. That is what I am going with plus a Magnaflow muffler.

How big was the one you brought in? There is plenty of room down there, especially after I removed heat shields.

i had a 6 inch round 18" long magnaflow. They said it would hang way too low, but i'm not sure it would hang lower than the current low point which is a few feet before the Y split.
In the spring i'm going to see if there's room between the cat and the current resonator for a vibrant ultraquiet. I've heard good things about them.

My current setup is running a round 6" wide, 30" long magnaflow resonator. It does sit kind of low. I will post a pic in my build thread to give you an idea of ground clearance.
