06 oddy trans in my 02 cls
Well I recently just finished my oddysey swap from a 06 and everything went really smooth for the most part. One thing I did notice is that the housing for the axels was slightly bigger and may have offset my driver side axel making it a shorter distance from the trans to the hub. So the issue that im having right now is that the driver side axel makes a grinding noise when I make right hand turns going over any bumps. I went out and bought a new axel that maybe has 200 miles on it and it is making the same distinct noise as the old one. It basically sounds like your driving over the center reflectors in the road when weight is distributed to the driver side while turning right. I would like to know if anyone else may have had the problem on their swaps or how i would maybe go about getting a different length axel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read the post.

Worst comes to worst if that is in fact the problem u could just get the axle shortened, by a professional that balances it after.
But I am sure that is going to be a few hundred beans so u better be sure that's it
I would try and get measurements off another CL to see how much u are actually out, then work from there
