What are you driving nowadays? Name one thing you miss about your Acura Cl
Driving nowadays: 1984 300zx turbo with no a/c no ps interior/exterior 2/10 junk o rama heat soaker I feel humbled from driving around in the luxury of an acura cl to this moving hunk o fmetal
I miss the high pitched hum of the idle of the acura cl HUMMMMMMMMMMMMM and the a/c compressor switching the fans on n off
HUMMMMMM tsskkkk
HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
and A/C
Thank god a piece of my CL is with me always.
Just got done with a j32a2 swap into a z31 2+0 coupe
I even kept the https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...intake-870900/
too bad I couldn't keep the air condition because the A/c pulley wouldn't clear the engine bay

Whats up with RDX owners?
iTrader: (9)
What I drive: '03 IS300 Sportcross, '13 FR-S
What I miss: I will name more than one thing - the power, the seats, the power, the auto-tilting passenger side mirror when you put the car in reverse, the engine, the powwwaaaaaa, the transmission, my stereo.
What I don't miss: Breaking axles, shitty motor mounts, and warped rotors.
What I like about the new cars: The Lexus is very comfortable, but not sporty at all. The seats only really hold you in place because the half alcantara, half leather upholstery is like velcro; there is no side support. It does weigh less then the CL though, and with (what feels like) better balance, so it's actually fun to drive. And it's a wagon. Wagons are awesome. The FR-S is loud, obnoxious, uncomfortable, slow, but fun as hell to toss into corners.
Bottom line: Do I want the CL back? No, it was time to move on. But it will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only was it my first "expensive" car, but it introduced me to AZine. You can't find this sort of community on another automotive forum.

Hell yeah man. After blowing through 3-4 "cheap" junk cars, 1994 4x4 suburban with no reverse, automatic EK coupe DX LOL, 94 integra with a mis colored fenders, The acura CL was the first "expensive dealer car" my mom helped me get. It was well worth it; just sucked how it got wrecked because it wasn't even due to my driving, it was someone else who ran a red light.
Now i'm back with a cheap car project car, insurance paid off the loan and i was left with 1k and thankfully got a 1984 300zx turbo for 900. It's definitely a different beast, handling is supreme compared to the CL and not boat like, the itnerior is so crappy and beat up makes me miss the CL dearly
It also inspired me to like other types of cars, I miss it but i'm onto other things as well; but I realy think the CL sparked my DIY and this forum and wanting to contribute to modding this boat luxury of a car and squeeze it's potential it's almost a lost cause but it's all fun in the end because we call in love with our cars. DID THEY EVER MAKE THOSE EQUAL LENGTH CUSTOM HEADERS FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH I JUST WANT A CL SO I CAN MOD IT
:'[
Hope you're having fun with your FRS!!!
Really wanting to get into the Subie game. 2004-2008 Forester XT 5 speed UGH. like a wagon but bigger; and with an sti block but smaller turbo, tons of potential.
UGH or a foxbody mustang
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH no monies

What I drive: '02 CL type S, '03 Subaru Legacy L special edition
What I miss: When I am driving the Subaru, the power
What I don't miss: Auto tragic transmission.
What I like about the new car: Subaru is built like a tank, will do a cloverleaf faster than the CL-S will, the ability to plow through a foot or more of snow.
Bottom line: Don't miss it as I still have it but the transmission issues have really taken the fun out of the car after 9 years.

I can't bring myself to get rid of it. It beats car payments. The only car that I feel is an upgrade and close to the price range of the cl is a 350z or g35 by throwing in a few thousand.
I'm not going to drive something older.
I would rather pour my money into mods for the cl rather than buy another car just for weight savings and RWD/AWD.
The pros: cheap luxury, it's quick, comfortable compared to some cars
cons: body weight, fwd, transmission, almost no mod support
I wouldn't miss it if I had the right opportunity.
