Anyone ever heard of primewell pz900 tires?

I got a flat yesterday in one of my Fusions and 2 other fuzions have bubbles in them and I have road Hazard coverage at Firestone. So I went yesterday and got the 3 replaced under my roadhazard coverage and bought one to match the other 3 (I dont want 3 primewell pz900 and 1 fuzion Hri) so I kept the fuzion as my spare (I have a extra rim as full size spare) and bought 1 primewell pz900. So it cost me less the $200 to buy one tire have 4 mounted and balanced and road hazard coverage on all 4 tires. I never heard of these Tires but they no longer carry fusions and these took there spot. Does anyone have any input on them?

i've heard of them but have not used them. they look like a good summer tire and remind me of the Exclaim UHP's

So far so good it has been raing in NJ for like a week now and put about 40 miles on these tires, I havent broke tracktion yet but havent really tried either...So far so good... Just wanna info from others if they are familiar with these tires..
Tirerack does not carry them I think they might be a firestone exclusive!

speedemon90 09-11-2010 12:49 PM

I'm looking into these tires. Any update? They are pretty cheap at firestone at $97 a tire so something is telling me to stay away.

cu0ngsayz 09-11-2010 02:05 PM

maybe they set it at a low affordable price so they can get their name out there? who knows

The tires are pretty good except that they're hard tires therefore if you have power under that hood all you will do is spin when you romp on it. On my 03 CL-S 6-speed I/H/E all I do is spin through 1st and 2nd all the time, and they are new. 235/45/17

invisiblewar 04-08-2011 02:55 PM

theyre arent bad, i ran a set for 2 years and liked em better than my sumitomos

Quality of the Prime Well Tires are very suspect, bought 4 in July of 2011 and the side wall imploded at 50 mph in December. Pushed by Firestone as a quality alternative but clearly substandard workmanship.

DA_All_Day 03-14-2012 10:30 AM

after a few thousand miles, tires got really loud

Primewell PZ900

I just signed up and enjoy finding answers to my questions. Tires came with
car and have 10,000 miles. Car is smooth and quiet, let you know how they
work as I get more seat time.

This wheel is made by Firestone company. Its their economy entry line and with Bridgestone being the high end.

dozabeast 03-05-2013 10:56 AM

i have these on my tl type s no issues they handle pretty good ive ran my car high speeds i tires no problems so far

sherwoodpark 04-29-2013 02:38 PM

Have a 07 TL-S and looking at set of the PZ-900, the price is good but have never heard of Primewell before. it's between those and the Michelin Primacy MXM4 which are twice as much. Any thoughts?

Oldsman71 04-29-2013 06:55 PM

I bought the Michelins you speak of. Like them a lot. Tire rack had one helluva sale on these back in march. I decided on them because tire rack had some road test info and these tires performed almost as well as summer tires, yet they were all season. I paid 139 a piece for 225/45/18 V rated plus shipping (actually bought in a tire/wheel package), plus I got a $70 debit card from Michelin to boot. Your tire size will be different and probably more expensive, but I don't think you can go wrong with Michelin.

nic_nac 05-12-2013 03:26 AM

They were on sale at Firestone and wheel works for like 3 something for the whole set

I put 4 on my RL with 18" rims. I have noticed bad fuel economy. I don't know if it is the tires or if my injectors need to be cleaned. No issues with my wet performance.

nugget_sauce 03-19-2014 12:18 AM

I have them there fine
