97 Acura CL lighter socket needs replacing?

The lighter in my 1997 Acura CL 3.0 is not putting out any power (lighter, iphone, etc. will not work when plugged in). The light in the ashtray (same fuse, I think) is working and I didn't find any other blown fuses. Now I'm pretty sure I need to replace the lighter socket. I noticed a metal panel on the inside of the socket also looks to be gone and it feels "loose"...

I'm hoping I can fix this myself. Can someone tell me how to replace it? I've gotten great advice on here in the past that has prob saved my hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Thanks in advance for your help!

I just replaced the light in my lighter today, and I took the lighter all the way out also. How I got to mine is i took the radio out and then unplugged the ground wire thats just plugged in, then held the back sleeve(what the ground wire was hooked to) and then turned the inside lighter part counter clockwise and it unscrewed all the way out then I was able to remove the power wire (hooked to the center of the inside lighter sleeve) then you will need to remove the light by twisting it and removing it out of the socket. Then just do the reverse to put one back in. I have a aftermarket radio so it was pretty easy. Not sure how to remove the factory radio since it wasn't in my car when I received it
