yes and yes, very easy. all you do is lift up on the seat from the front and it will pop right up, super easy

i've been tugging on the rear passenger side seat for an hour. only the corner edge near the door popped up. i'm afraid of pulling to hard on the side next to the arm rest (afraid it won't bend back into shape)..it it just a straight pull up or pull foward first? are both rear seats like that?

If you just pull up it will most likely add creases/wrinkles in the leather after a few times iof you aren't careful. Also when you do that the clips most likely break and you will need to buy 2 or 4 new ones from acura.

I was told by Acura there is a special tool to remove it without all that force needed and breaking the clips but I never used a tool for it and just replaced the clips.

For the seat cushions you can grab them from the front.
You might have to give them a wiggle like pushing to the back and the front direction of the car while lifting up.
Each cushion only has two clips in the front.
They come out easy.

Best way to remove seat back cushions is 2 remove the rear center console.
Then their will be two more bolts, one on each side of the botom, remove.
Then take the seat belts and pull under the frame where you just took out the last bolts.
Then pull the botom towards you 1-2inches.
While holding it in that position you will lift up.
Some time's it will not come off the top clip's evenly.
So you will have to clear the clips one side at a time.
Easyiest way to get that out is out the passenger side.
Be careful when take seat back out of the car.
The frame arms on the bottom will scratch your car if you dont listen here.
Dont worrie about the leather rubbing anything on the car ,worrie about those arms.
Also I remove mine right foot in the car left foot out.
Clear the first arm.
And rest the seat back inbetween the arms.
Then reposition yourself out side the car and clear the 2nd mounting arm.
beleive me this is how you want to do it.
The seat back will not get jambed up or causing scraches to interior, door jambs,or rocker.
No special tools required. only 10,and 12mm if I remember right.

I've become a pro at this as I am too cheap to get the EDFC for my Tein coilovers. My recomendation is to lift firmly on the center of the seat in the front and they should pop right up. You will need a 10mm wrench if you need to remove the rear portion of the seat, once the base of the seats are out, you will see the bolts to get the rear portion out.

This helps, but one more question?

I need to take the passenger side interior panel off to add sound deadener. Had body work done, but it was never quiet again. Any tips on doing that after I get the rear seat out? Appreciate any help offered!
Joe
