Hey we are setting up a meet for the weekend of June 29th in NOLA. Go to the regional forum and click on the nola/ms thread for more info. Try to make it happen!

If the seafoam was sucked into the intake pipe to the intake and not into the head towards the oil cap side of that hose then you did it correctly. The only problem with the way you did it is that it is before the throttle body and there is no vacuum there at there is only vacuum after the throttle body door. (the part that opens and closes) That plate being closed is what causes the vacuum in the intake and allows the seafoam to be sucked in. if you got it to be sucked up and it didn’t flow back out of the intake, the process worked anyway. The best way to do it is to remove the intake pipe from the throttle body and using a $2 (available at home depot or Lowes) spray 1/3-1/2 the bottle of seafoam from the spray bottle quickly as you can into the throttle plate with the engine running. You will have to manually open the throttle plate with your hand on the throttle cable cam to keep the engine running as it will want to stall as you spray the seafoam in quickly. As soon as you run out of seafoam in the spray bottle kill the engine and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. When you start it back up you should get a shit load of smoke. If you do the process on a cold engine it won’t work. The engine must be at full operating temp for the stuff to work. Drive the car around aggressively then immediately do the seafoam procedure.

Do you have any insight to my seafoam problem? I was reading the link posted in my thread, but I am not sure what to do as I did not pour the seafoam into the VAC line. Instead it was poured through I believe the hose that connects to the intake. http://www.cl.acurazine.com/forums/s...d.php?t=474545
